Celebrated my birthday yesterday and thought of th Celebrated my birthday yesterday and thought of the many blessings I’ve received this year – including this trip to Paris Fashion Week. Meeting my favorite designers. Experiencing art museums with my artist mom. Eating and drinking well (like, really well). Wholeheartedly grateful.
Sparkly details from my look. (See previous post!) Sparkly details from my look. (See previous post!) That’s two shows in a row that I’ve worn tailored culottes, and I’m kind of digging the look! It’s elegant and most importantly, comfy.
Caught lookin’ happy as a clam en route to the C Caught lookin’ happy as a clam en route to the Cult Gaia runway show in Los Angeles. Sometimes, I have weeks to plan an outfit. Other times, it involves rushing to a store 10 minutes before the doors to the runway open, and trying something on in mere seconds. Massive thank you to the @cultgaia store team for helping me under a time crunch. 🙏🏻

For its first runway show since 2018, @cultgaia se For its first runway show since 2018, @cultgaia sent a joyous lineup of vacation-ready looks at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. The runway show, titled “Under the Sun,” also showcased the brand’s more expressive and artisanal design language! The full review is live on mariground.com!

Wanting to rest my feet between shows in Paris, I Wanting to rest my feet between shows in Paris, I pulled up a chair at an almost-empty cafe. The waitress came out, smiled and asked, “Wine?” I nodded enthusiastically. She didn’t ask what kind; she just brought out a chilled glass of rose and walked away. It was perfect. I still think of her now.
